Lanegan was an essential figure in the American alternative scene, from his leadership of Screaming Trees in the 80s and 90s to his solo albums and being a regular collaborator in Josh Homme's Queens Of The Stone Age universe. Homme himself, Nick Oliveri, PJ Harvey, G'n'R bassist Duff McKagan, and Alain Johannes, a member of the band Eleven and another regular with Queens Of The Stone Age, were present at the recording sessions for "Bubblegum," where several previously unreleased sessions were recorded and are now being published.

All proceeds from this "Bubblegum (Original Draft)" will be donated to the recently established Mark Lanegan Foundation.

Originally released in 2004, this special edition for Record Store Day 2026 is available as a white double vinyl.
